Names
Player and club name pools derived in part from Wikipedia, used under CC BY-SA 4.0.
Forenames and surnames were compiled from Wikipedia's given-name and surname categories and its lists of the most common surnames by country, for every nation in the game. No football database was used: every player, club and competition in Touchline is invented, and any resemblance to a real professional is a coincidence of common names. Cities are real places; nation, league and club names are not real bodies.
The full list of source pages, the filtering applied and the size of each pool are recorded in
data/names/LICENCE.md, which is part of this game's source. The pools themselves are distributed
under the same licence, CC BY-SA 4.0.
